Diagnosing an engine problem requires checking the spark plug wires, the vacuum lines, the car battery, and more.
Onsite services include, removal of cylinders, taking old seals out, then replacing with new seals, for all makes and models.
Onsite repairs would consist of sending in a crew to diagnose the problem, utilizing tech diagnostic equipment (when possible) then discuss necessary repairs with the equipment owners to schedule services.
1) All field services are due on receipt (DOR). Work ordered and completed within the same week is billed on the Monday of the following week. Payments for those billed services are due on Thursday of the same week bills are emailed to customers.
2) Ongoing jobs that require multiple weeks of service to complete complex tasks are billed weekly. Billing for these services follows the same guidelines listed above.
3) We accept credit card payments for services rendered, which includes a 3.5% service fee, or ACH payment through QuickBooks online.
4) Travel and gas surcharges are billed at a rate of 1 hour of service (one way to the job site) daily. Billing starts from the time the trucks leave our yard or last jobsite worked for the scheduled service. For companies that are closer in proximity, it is an advantage because we don’t overlap billable hours with travel hours; service hours start after the travel hour is up. Gas for compressors and welders is included in that surcharge.
5) Customers are billed a flat rate surcharge for truck supplies used during services..
Quotes for services are provided for repairs of known failures diagnosed by CHER Service Mechanics and/or the Service Manager. Price quotes do not include costs for unforeseen repairs to parts or secondary part failures that affect the success of the ordered repair service. Additional costs incurred may include heating and beating bolts, interior head damage, bent cylinder shafts, etc.
All services are warranted when CHER mechanics start and complete repairs as scheduled by clients. Client mechanics or vendor collaborators who work on any stage of the ordered service that can affect the success of the work performed by CHER mechanics are not warranted. Collaboration with CHER repair partners on the ordered services that are performed by the partners is guaranteed by those partners. CHER is not responsible for failures due to vendor part failures or services that cause CHER repair failure resulting from a vendor’s faulty parts or services. All parts are warranted by the vendor that produces the parts. Second-hand parts are not warranted by CHER if repair failures are due to second-hand parts used in the repair service that are not rebuilt by or recommended by CHER to be used in the services provided.
